About

My name is Jon Heller. I graduated from Shaker Heights High School in 2000, and went to the University of Massachusetts Amherst where I met my lovely wife and got a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science. I then moved to an oddly named placed called Conshohocken, a suburb west of Philadelphia, where I attended the graduate program at Villanova University and obtained a masters degree, also in Computer Science. Then in February of 2007, my wife and I moved up to Salem.

I am the web content manager of a small company in Salem, Massachusetts (yes, with the witches). I also do technology consulting on the side, via Heller Technology Consulting.

What’s the purpose of this website? Well, originally it was simply to establish my identity on the web, as I didn’t like being confused with some of the other individuals who shared my name. However I soon found that I enjoyed writing about issues or topics that I encountered every day, and thus the blog portion of the site was born.
